day one
In the early afternoon we will relax into our creative environment with an emphasis on observation, composition and color.

6:00 ~ finish and go
day two
Continuing from day one with a focus on how to develop our paintings with more advanced techniques. Our emphasis will be contrast, atmosphere, light source, tools, techniques and final touches.

materials and supplies
The following materials will be provided for your use while participating in the workshop. You are welcome to bring any additional materials of your own.
your outdoor studio will include:
- a variety of canvases
- palette knives
- brushes of all sizes and shapes
- painting medium and jars for mixing
- drawing pads and sketching materials
- easels, tables, chairs, latex gloves and aprons
- oil paint: all colors needed to blend an infinite pallet
- basic landscape painting starter kits will also be available for purchase to take home.
suggested attire
Bring a hat. Wear casual and comfortable clothing appropriate for the outdoors. It would be wise to wear clothes that you won't mind getting paint on, as this seems to be inevitable!
